You can pay for your fare using a transit card, a bank card, a smartphone, or another contactless payment device. Passengers paying with cash can use a single-trip QR ticket, which is available for purchase at EasyPay terminals. After payment, you must validate your fare on board the vehicle.

The fare depends on the mode of transport and the payment method. Updated fares apply starting August 7, 2026: for trolleybuses — 16 UAH when paying with a transport card, 17 UAH with a bank card, and 18 UAH for a QR ticket purchased with cash; for buses — 22 UAH with a transport card, 24 UAH with a bank card, and 26 UAH for a single-use QR ticket.

Categories of citizens defined by Ukrainian legislation and decisions of the Rivne City Council are entitled to free or discounted travel. Additionally, the community provides for a 50% reimbursement of travel costs for pupils and students.

Concessionary transport cards are issued to citizens who are entitled to subsidized travel. To obtain one, you must visit a designated processing center and present documents verifying your identity and eligibility for the concession. A concessionary card does not require topping up with funds if it is intended for free travel.

After boarding the vehicle, you must tap your transit or bank card against the validator, or use a smartphone with contactless payment capabilities. Wait for confirmation that the payment was successful. If using a concession card, you must also validate the trip, even if the fare is free.

Public transport routes can be viewed on an electronic route map and via the Dozor system, which also allows for real-time tracking of buses and trolleybuses.
