The Housing and Communal Services Department is responsible for the proper maintenance of the urban environment, the development of landscaping, and the organization of work in the housing sector.

Main tasks:

  1. Organization and coordination of work in the field of housing and maintenance of the community’s housing stock;
  2. Ensuring the improvement of the community’s territory, in particular the maintenance of streets, sidewalks, public spaces and other improvement objects;
  3. Organization of maintenance and cleaning of territories, control over compliance with improvement rules;
  4. Coordination of the work of municipal enterprises that ensure the proper condition of urban infrastructure and territories;
  5. Organization of household waste management and ensuring the proper sanitary condition of the community;
  6. Regulation of the placement of outdoor advertising on the territory of the community and control over compliance with relevant rules.

The Rivne Urban Territorial Community has new Landscaping Rules, which define the basic requirements for the maintenance of territories, buildings, streets, public spaces and other landscaping facilities. The document establishes clear rules for residents, businesses, institutions and organizations and is aimed at maintaining cleanliness, order and proper condition of the urban environment.
