To make it easier for passengers to navigate the route network, traffic diagrams are posted at public transport stops in Rivne.

Through the information portal “City Hotline 1553”, the relevant services received a message from residents about a malfunction of the pedestrian traffic light call button at the intersection of Popovycha – Ruska – Yasna streets.

After receiving the appeal, specialists from the Municipal Enterprise “Misksvitlo” promptly responded to the message and went to the site to check the equipment. During the inspection, a malfunction of the pedestrian traffic light call button was discovered.

The company’s employees performed the necessary repairs and restored the equipment to working order. Currently, the call button is working normally, so pedestrians can again use it when crossing the road at this intersection.

Serviceable traffic light equipment is an important component of road safety. This is especially true for pedestrian crossings, where the ability to signal for a crossing in a timely manner helps to regulate the movement of pedestrians and motor vehicles.

This case also demonstrates the importance of timely informing city services about malfunctions. Residents’ reports allow us to more quickly identify problems and transfer them directly to specialists responsible for maintaining the relevant equipment.

We thank residents for their concern, attentiveness, and timely reports about malfunctions in city infrastructure. It is thanks to such appeals that municipal services can respond faster to problem situations and maintain the city economy in proper condition.
