Traffic along the street for public and private vehicles will fully resume on October 8.
As part of the cross-border project “Development of Sewerage Infrastructure and Improvement of Wastewater Management in Rivne and Lublin”—implemented under the Interreg NEXT Poland-Ukraine 2021–2027 Programme with financial support from the European Union—repair work to reconstruct the storm drainage system on Chornovola Street has effectively been completed.
Traffic for both public and private vehicles will fully resume on the street starting tomorrow, October 8.
The overall drainage line is currently 90% complete; only the final connection to the network remains. Drivers are asked to temporarily reduce their speed when traveling along this section, as the asphalt surface has not yet been fully restored. Work under the cross-border project is ongoing; crews will next move to Drahomanova Street.
We thank residents and drivers for their understanding and patience during the construction work. Implementing this project will modernize the drainage system, improve its efficiency, and ensure the proper functioning of storm drainage in the city center.
